Having installed CX-Server LITE, it may be that the CX-Server LITE Communications Control does not appear in the 'Components' list that VB displays.

There are 2 solutions to this problem:

• Open a new VB project and select the CX-Server LITE project template. This will find the CX-Server LITE Communications Control and VB will display it correctly in its list.
• Click the 'Browse' button on the Components dialog and select the file manually. The default location for the file is:
  c:\program files\common files\omron\components\CX server communications control.ocx

Which ever solution you use, having done this once, VB will always show the control in its components list.
