Creating Multilingual Applications Using The NB Text Library Tool

This article provides details for the use of the NB Text Library Tool.

Introduction

The NB HMI supports the creation of multilingual applications. NB-Designer offers a good method to work with multiple languages within the NB HMI by using the 'Text Library' functionality in NB-Designer.

The 'Text Library' feature support exporting and importing .csv files. Files created in NB-Designer can be easily exported to be modified in programs such as Microsoft Office Excel but with several limitations. In order to compliment the limitations of using NB-Designer, NB Text Library Tool has been developed specifically for the Text Library functionality in NB-Designer.

NB Text Library Tool can open exported Text Library files from NB-Designer, modify the contents of the files easily and export it into an overview.csv or TextLib.csv (used by NB-Designer).
