To Use The Light Of A Photoelectric Sensor Through The Hole, How Large The Hole Should Be?

Make the hole the same size as the lens diameter. See the following to see how this does also depend on the sensing method used.

1. To use light through a hole

Make hole the same size as the lens diameter to secure corridors of light regardless of the through-beam or the reflective.

When holes are smaller than the lens diameters, the rated sensing distance might not be satisfied because the amount of light decreases.
