What Is The Difference In The Way That Serial Ports A And B Are Used On NT31/631 Programmable Terminals?

  • Either serial port A or serial port B may be used to connect to the host. Both ports cannot be simultaneously connected to a host.
  • Screen data transfer can be done only using serial port A. Serial port B cannot be used for screen data transfer.
  • For details, refer to NT31/NT31C Setup Manual or NT631/NT631C Setup Manual.
