Can I Program PLCs So That All Of The Outputs In A Ladder Program Step Will Not Turn OFF, Even After Proceeding To The Next Step?

When proceeding to the next step of a ladder program, the OUT instructions will turn OFF all outputs that were turned ON.

Therefore, use the SET instruction so that the status of the outputs bits is maintained after proceeding to the next step of a ladder program.

When required, turn OFF the outputs using the RSET instruction.
