Function Blocks for User-defined CAN unit, CJ1W-CORT21 - Example One


Introduction

The CJ1W-CORT21 is at startup configured by FINS commands. It can be a lot of work setting all parameters correctly in memory for the CMND-instruction. Function Blocks can be a lot of help here.

 

These Function Blocks are from an AE in OMRON Netherlands who designed them to configure the CJ1W-CORT21 at startup. His experience ranges from different CAN-applications, through to communication in vehicles and robots. If you have seen one CAN-network and understand the principle of operation the next one then becomes very simple.
