Why Does X-Linker Control Linked To A Numerical Value Write Different Values? - CX-Server Lite version 1.1/OPC version 1.1

When using the text box and a CX-Linker control linked to a numerical value, it appears to write values that are different to those that are entered.

This is because the Excel TextBox is designed for text, and sends the ASCII value for the numerical value that is entered. For example, if you enter 5 in the textbox the value 53 will be written to the PLC. There is no workaround to this since you can't set the datatype of the text box to numerical.
