How Do I Fix "NY Service State Disconnected" Error?

If you are running CX-Supervisor version 3.3 and receive "NY Service state disconnected" message in the error log when running on NY series IPC then it is likely your NY System API is not compatible. CX-Supervisor 3.3 is only compatible with NY System API version 1.0.0.0.

This problem can be resolved by checking your NY System API version and downgrading to version 1.0, which is included as part of updating the "Industrial PC Support Utility" (known as ISU).

Update method

1. Open Industrial PC Platform Software downloads web page for the ISU update packages
2. At the BOTTOM of the page, click the link for "Past Versions"
3. Download the ISU update for your model:
    • For NYB and NYP models, without controller, choose "Industrial PC Support Utility" with "ISU_1.0.11.0.zip" filename
    • For NY5 models with controller, choose "Industrial PC Support Utility (for IPC Machine Controller)" with "ISU_Hybrid_1.0.0.0.zip" filename
2. From “Apps & Features” ("Programs and Features" on Windows 7 systems) find and uninstall the following:
    • Industrial PC Support Utility
    • Industrial PC System API
3. Reboot, only if prompted to do so
4. Run the new ISU update package
5. Reboot, only if prompted to do so

The "Product Information" screen of the "Industrial PC Support Utility" will now show the updated "IPC Product Version" and CX-Supervisor 3.3 will now run without the error.
